Universal Studios Hollywood Backlot Gets a Makeover
Brownstone Street and New York Street Re-dressed
Universal Studios Hollywood has announced that WEB Brownstone Street and New York Street on the backlot have been extensively re-dressed. The redesign includes new facades, props, and details that bring the streets to life.
Brownstone Street
Brownstone Street has been transformed into a classic New York City street, complete with brownstone buildings, cast iron street lamps, and cobblestone streets. The street is also home to new shops and restaurants, including a bakery, a cheese shop, and a cafe.
New York Street
New York Street has been redesigned to resemble a modern Manhattan street. The street features tall buildings with glass facades, bright lights, and bustling crowds. The street is also home to new stores and restaurants, including a coffee shop, a clothing store, and a sushi restaurant.
The re-dressed streets will be featured in the new Studio Tour Hollywood, which opens on July 25, 2023. The tour will give guests a behind-the-scenes look at the world-famous backlot, which has been used to film countless movies and TV shows.
