Thousands of Runners to Take on London's Iconic Landmarks

Brighter Future Ahead for 50,000 Runners

The London Marathon, one of the world's most prestigious road races, has officially opened the ballot for its 2025 edition. Over 50,000 runners will have the opportunity to experience the vibrant atmosphere and take on the iconic landmarks of London.

The route, showcasing London's architectural wonders, includes Buckingham Palace, The Cutty Sark, and Tower Bridge. Since its inception, the London Marathon has become a symbol of sporting excellence, inspiring runners and viewers alike.

Renowned athletes like David Weir, Brigid Kosgei, and Shura Kitata will be among the elite runners gracing the start line. The race commences at 8:30am on Sunday morning in Greenwich Park, with a series of start waves commencing from 10am to 11:30am to ensure a smooth flow of participants.
