Morgan Spurlock, the Oscar-nominated documentary filmmaker best known for his 2004 film "Super Size Me," has died at the age of 53.
Spurlock first made a splash in 2004 with his groundbreaking film "Super Size Me," in which he chronicled a 30-day period during which he ate only McDonald's food.
The film was nominated for an Academy Award and helped to raise awareness about the dangers of fast food.
