Club de FĂștbol Pachuca Receives Visit from CONCACAF Secretary General

Pachuca, Mexico - May 2, 2024

Club de FĂștbol Pachuca welcomed CONCACAF Secretary General Philipe Moggio today for a special visit.

The visit comes just a day after Pachuca's impressive 3-2 victory over Club León in Liga MX action. The Tuzos, as Pachuca is known, are currently in third place in the league standings, just three points behind leaders Club América.

During his visit, Moggio met with Club Pachuca President JesĂșs MartĂnez and other club officials. They discussed a wide range of topics, including the development of youth football in Mexico and the region, as well as the upcoming CONCACAF competitions.

"We are very honored to welcome Secretary General Moggio to Pachuca," said MartĂnez. "His visit is a testament to the growing importance of Mexican football in the region. We are committed to working with CONCACAF to develop the sport and to provide opportunities for our young players."

Moggio was impressed by the facilities and the academy system at Club Pachuca.

"Pachuca is a great example of a club that is doing things the right way," said Moggio. "They have a strong commitment to youth development and to community involvement. I am confident that they will continue to be a force in Mexican and CONCACAF football for many years to come."

Club Pachuca has a long and successful history, having won six Mexican league titles and three CONCACAF Champions League titles. The club is also known for its strong youth academy, which has produced a number of talented players over the years.

Pachuca's recent form has been excellent, with the team winning four of its last five matches in Liga MX. The Tuzos will be looking to continue their good form when they face Club Tijuana on Wednesday, May 4.
